Alongside our main extension, loft conversion, and refurbishment work, Adamski Builders Ltd. offers a range of standalone building services across London. Whether it’s a structural alteration, a new kitchen, a roof repair, or new windows throughout, we can handle it as a one-off job or as part of a larger project.

Structural Work and Steel Beams

We carry out structural alterations across London, including the installation of RSJs and steel beams to support new openings, load-bearing wall removals, and layout changes. All structural work is designed to structural engineer specifications and signed off through building control.

Common structural jobs include:

  • Removing load-bearing walls to create open-plan living spaces
  • Forming new openings between rooms or for new doorways
  • Installing steel beams to support loft conversions and extensions
  • Chimney breast removals with proper structural support

This is specialist work and one we do regularly, both as standalone projects and as part of full refurbishments. If your architect or structural engineer has already provided drawings, we can price directly from them. If not, we can arrange the structural design through our network.

Windows and Doors

We supply and install windows and doors across London — typically as part of a larger build, but also as standalone jobs where a property needs a full window or door upgrade.

  • Windows: full window packages in uPVC, timber, and aluminium, including sash windows, casement, tilt-and-turn, and bay windows. Supply, install, and make-good plastering and decoration around the new frames.
  • Doors: internal doors, external front doors (including composite), French doors, bi-fold doors, patio sliders, and bespoke joinery. Full fitting service including new frames, locks, and finishing.

New openings requiring structural work are handled in-house, so you don’t need to bring in a separate builder to cut the opening before the doors go in.

Bathrooms

Full bathroom installation service, from standard replacements to bespoke designs. We handle the full scope:

  • Strip-out of existing bathroom
  • Any structural or layout changes, including moving walls
  • First-fix and second-fix plumbing
  • Full electrical work and lighting
  • Floor and wall tiling
  • Shower installation, including wet rooms and walk-in showers
  • Sanitary ware, vanities, and fixtures
  • Underfloor heating where required
  • Final decoration and sealing

Whether it’s a main family bathroom, an en-suite, or a downstairs WC, we’ll price the full job and deliver a finished bathroom ready to use.

Stairs and Balconies

We carry out new staircase installations, renovations of existing stairs, and bespoke joinery work. This includes traditional timber staircases, modern open-tread designs, and loft staircases as part of conversions.

For balconies, we build both structural external balconies and Juliet balconies, including all associated structural support, waterproofing, and railings. Balcony work is a regular part of our larger residential projects — the Tamworth Arms conversion included multiple balconies with views over the surrounding area, all built and finished in-house.

Kitchens

Standalone kitchen installation service, covering full strip-out, any structural or layout changes, electrical and plumbing, tiling, flooring, and final fitting of units and worktops.

We work with kitchens supplied by the client (from any supplier) or can arrange supply through our trade contacts. If walls need to come down to open the kitchen into a dining or living space, that structural work is handled in-house as part of the same project.

External Works

We handle the full range of external building work, including:

  • Roofing: full re-roofs, roof repairs, flat roof installation and replacement, guttering, and fascia boards
  • Rendering and pointing: new render systems, render repairs, and traditional brick repointing on period properties
  • Driveways: block paving, resin-bound driveways, pebble driveways, and composite options
  • Fencing and decking: new fencing installation, garden walls, and both front and rear decking builds
  • External insulation: external wall insulation (EWI) systems for improved energy efficiency
  • Internal insulation: loft insulation, internal wall insulation, and floor insulation

External work is often done alongside larger refurbishments — for example, re-roofing and pointing a Victorian property during a full refurb — but we’re happy to quote for any of these as standalone jobs.
